Thomas R. Comer, 63 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on July 1, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 31, 1956 in the Bronx, New York, to Daniel and Anna (Hildenbrand) Comer.
He was a lover of life and wholeheartedly believed in the goodness of others.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Maria "Mary" Comer of Ormond Beach, Florida, his 3 children, daughter Kristen Bell (husband Daniel Bell) of Ormond Beach, Florida, son Tom Comer (wife Jennifer Comer) of Indialantic, Florida, daughter, Katelin Comer of Ormond Beach, Florida, and 3 grandchildren, Abby, Lexi and Jack Comer of Indialantic, Florida.
He was a lover of life and embraced every moment. Sunrises at "his beach" with coffee and soaking up the glory of God in all things, brought him peace and strength. He adored his grandchildren, who gave him the name, Pop Pop. He loved his wife, his "Maria", as he would sing her name like in the Broadway Musical, "West Side Story" and surprised her with a single red rose every chance he had. He was from New York, a true blue patriot and would make sure everyone he met knew it. He was close with his siblings, Danny, John, and Marianne, and would go to any length to make sure they knew regardless of where they lived, no distance would keep them apart.
He was a true "Beach-Comer" and will forever be in our hearts.
