Thomas Walter Bliven age 68 left this earth to rest in a better place on March 28th 2012 after his long battle with Cancer.
A Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday April 5 2012 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday April 5 2012 also in the Chapel at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Friday April 6 2012 at The Jacksonville National Cemetery.
He was born on July 1943 in Ridgewood NJ. Thomas spent 26 years serving our country in the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Once retired Thomas moved from Germany to Florida to reunite with his twin brother James Bliven and older brother Robert Bliven. Once in Florida he was employed for almost two decades by the Port Orange Police department. He was always a dedicated man in every aspect of his life he was the first to help out anybody in need and also the first anybody in need and also the first to bring humor to any situation even in his last days. He is survived by his brothers and his children Dane Bliven Tommy Bliven Tamara Bliven Danny Bliven and Tammy Murray. May he rest in peace and forever live in our hearts.
