Thomas Henry Amato, 80 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. He was born June 23, 1940 in Syracuse, New York to Salvatore "Samuel" and Matilda "Cioffi" (George) Amato.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, attended Rennslaer Polytechnic Institute and was in Project Management for General Electric.  He was also an avid computer enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Margaret (Lagaly) Amato of Ormond Beach, his siblings, Carol Amato and Roseann Amato, brother-in-law, James Fillman and niece Amanda Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Amato
