Theresa Mary Sridhar, 72, of Ormond Beach, FL left this earthly home for her permanent place in Heaven on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Theresa was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 9, 1950 to parents Wesley Frank and Theresa Mary Goetz. She was a loving daughter and caring older sister to Michael, Patricia, Anne Marie, and Mary Therese. Her love of caring for others led her to become a nurse and eventually meet her husband, Dr. Srinivasa (Sri) Sridhar in Queens, NY. Theresa and Sri married on July 18, 1976 and moved to Ormond Beach, Florida where he started an orthopedic practice and she worked as a pediatric nurse at Florida Health Care. They are the proud parents of seven wonderful children, endearingly referred to as The Seven Sacraments by Father Gondek. It was a fitting nickname because Theresa's Catholic faith was at the center of her life and family.

Theresa was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in March of 2015. She endured a pneumonectomy, seven and a half years of chemo and many setbacks along the way, but she was a courageous fighter and never gave up. She said her faith and family kept her going, as well as the excellent care she received at Halifax Oncology Center.

Family was everything to Theresa. She was the rock upon which the Sridhar family was built. Her love for her husband, children and grandchildren was evident in everything she said and did. Theresa was loving and selfless and, above all, a faithful servant.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Sri Sridhar; her seven children: Andrew, Cecelia (Brian), Michael (Kristin), Paul (Crystal), Kathryn (Ricky), Mary, and Elizabeth (Owen); fifteen grandchildren and counting who lovingly refer to her as "Srima": Emily, Leo, Alina, Kian, Meridian, Desmond, Ronan, Emerson, Everly, Fiona, Avi, Jackson, Iris, Robinson, and Kai; and her beloved schnauzer Lily.

Friends may call Tuesday, November 8 from 4-7pm at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 11am at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond Beach. Interment to follow at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 North Nova Rd, Ormond Beach.
