Theodore "Ted" Zawila 82 of Daytona Beach passed away on Tuesday July 15 2008. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 18 2008 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4675 Clyde Morris Blvd Port Orange FL at 8:30 am with Fr. Joe Pinchock presiding. Ted was born on June 22 1926 in Wilkes Barre PA. He was a US Army Veteran and a Merchant Marine in the Navy as well. Ted was retired from Allstate Insurance Company. He came to this area in 1981 from Wyoming PA. He was an avid golfer and a member of Pelican Bay Country Club as well as Fox Hill Country Club in PA. also the Knights of Columbus the Lions Club and he was a volunteer ambulance driver with the Wyoming Hose Company in Wyoming PA. He was also a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange were he was an usher. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Emma Zawila of Daytona Beach two daughters Denise Zawila of Spruce Creek FL and Jeannine Black of Daytona Beach; his brother Joseph Zawila of CT and his sisters Frances Malin of VA; Theresa Weilga of VA and Irene Papka of S.C. Also his two grandchildren Teddy Black of Wyoming PA and Allison Black of Daytona Beach FL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ted's memory to the American Heart Association 555 W.
