myFuneral Services for Teddy Theodore Spanos who passed away October 20 2004 in Athens Greece will be held Thursday October 28th at 11:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. His final resting place and committal service will be held at Daytona Memorial Park immediately following. His family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00pm on Wednesday October 27th at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home and invite you to join them during the trisagion prayer service at 7:30 pm. Teddy was born in Karatoula Kastri Greece. He moved to the area in 1987 from Chicago IL. Teddy was the owner and operator of Teddy?s Beachside Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach for 17 years. Teddy loved to dance and enjoyed life. He lived for his family and touched everyone that he met. Teddy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Georgia nee Parhas his children Olga Buonicore Martha and her husband Michael Halcomb and Nectarios Spanos 3 grandchildren Michael Joseph and Giavanna Buonicore his brother Thanasi and wife Katina Spanos of Greece his sister Stavroula Geladaki of Greece his mother-in-law Theodora Parhas and also many many nieces and nephews in Greece and in the States. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Olga Spanos his sister Martha his brothers Spyro George and Lefteri and his father-in-law Dimitrios Parhas.
