Funeral service for Thelma Jean (Leonard) Williams, 87, Daytona Beach, who died Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Halifax Medical Center, will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024, in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the chapel service to follow at 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. and graveside to follow in Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born January 7, 1937, in Daytona Beach, Florida., to Ernest and Ada Leonard. Thelma was a native of Florida and spent her entire life in Florida. She was a wife and homemaker for 68 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After the passing of her husband of 50 years she became the backbone of her family. Thelma enjoyed painting and was an artist.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frederick Everett Williams and her son, Paul Glenville Williams.

She is survived by her life partner of 16 years Frank Ronald "Ronnie" Sharpton, Daytona Beach, Florida; two sons, Everett L. Williams, Loganville, Georgia, Ernest B. Williams, Loganville, Georgia.; daughter; Tina J. Williams, Daytona Beach, Florida.; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
