Thelma Craig , 89, of Holly Hill, FL passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2012.

Born March 18 1923 in Biggs Kentucky she relocated to Volusia County in 1956. Thelma was a retired bookkeeper an avid animal lover enjoyed gardening cooking and Elvis Presley most of all she loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Larry Gene Compton of Holly Hill FL and Michael Charles Craig Milton FL by her daughter Sheila C. Lopez and her husband Julian Lopez Jr. of Ormond Beach by her brothers Carmel Childres and Gary R. Childress as well as her three grandchildren J.C. Lopez Morgan Lopez and Lindsay Lopez and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Barry Dean Adams her brother Lester Childress and her sister Lou Lebo. Funeral services will be celebrated on Sunday August 12th at 10:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
