Tessie Francis Ryan 87 of Ormond Beach passed from this life to Eternal Life on Monday March 8. Born in Newark New Jersey Tessie is the daughter of the late Stanley and Frances Wisnefsky. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1991 from Texas. She was a member of St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church.

Tessie was preceded in death by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years John Joseph Ryan Sr. of Ormond Beach. She is the beloved mother of her sons Fr. John J. Ryan Pastor of St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church in Ormond Beach and James T. Ryan of Ormond Beach and her daughter Susan T. Ryan Fries of Ormond Beach. She will be remembered lovingly by her 2 grandchildren Michelle S. Fries Pastor of Port Orange and Timothy J. Fries of Ormond Beach and 3 great-grandchildren Meghan V. Pastor Zachary V. Pastor and Aidan J. Fries.

The family will be present for visitation at Ormond Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm on Sunday March 14. Prayers will follow the visitation at 7:00pm A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by her son at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church on Monday March 15 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona Beach. Parishioners friends and relatives are invited to gather at the church on Monday morning.
