Terry Higgins, 73, terrific, loving, fantastic husband of Sharon Higgins and wonderful father of Michelle Gersten & husband Gary and Michael Higgins and wife Michelle, passed away on Monday, October 23 after a brief illness. He is also survived by his sister, Moira Poe, and five awesome grandchildren that he treasured and loved dearly, Ryan Gersten, Riley Higgins, Morgan Gersten, Lacey Higgins, and Madison Gersten. Before he retired, he was an accountant and financial controller. Following retirement, he and his wife enjoyed the beach, weekends away, cruises, and most of all, their wonderful family. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a donation in Terry's name to the Halifax Humane Society in Daytona Beach, FL.
