Terrence F. Prorok, 79, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on February 3 rd , 2019.

Terry was born in Chicago, IL on 12/19/1939 to Eileen (Prendergast) and Francis Prorok. The family moved to Rouseville, PA in 1953 where Terry attended and graduated from St Joseph's. While there, Terry met his high school sweetheart, Alice Boyle. Terry and Alice were married in 1958.

In 1958 Terry also enlisted in the US Navy and began a lifetime of service to his country. While in the Navy, Terry earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer as an Air Traffic Controller. Terry retired from the Navy in 1985.

Terry is survived by his brother Pat, his children Sharon Hughes (Randy), Rick, Dan (Beth), Kim Schroeder (Brad). Terry is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Terry, who is now forever reunited with his wife and parents, will continue to be a hero to his family as well as many others.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Terry at 11:00 AM on Friday February 22 nd , 2019 at St. Joseph Church in Oil City, PA with Fr. Ian McElrath officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard prior to the Mass.
