Funeral Service for Terrence Paul Chmiel 51 a business entrepreneur of Ormond Beach FL who passed away Wednesday night March 1 as a result of an auto accident will be held Saturday March 4th at 4:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday March 4th . In addition a ?Celebration? of Terry?s life will be announced at a later date. Terry grew up in Chicago IL and moved to Daytona Beach in 1974 to attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his bachelor?s degree in aviation management. Terry switched gears after graduation and managed both the Silver Bucket and Snack Jack in Flagler Beach. His love of food and entertaining then led him to open Luigi?s Caf on Seabreeze. The homemade bread for his legendary sandwiches is unrivaled today. After selling Luigi?s his entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchase Percision Air Tech and then US Mold. Terry was predeceased by his father Leo. He is survived by his loving mother Marie and brother Richard of Park Ridge IL as well as niece Sherry Gricius Jim nephew Darren Chmiel Kathy and grandniece Abby all of Park Ridge IL. Terry has left a large circle of friends and adopted family in Florida who will miss his positive energy smile and sense of humor more than words can say and who will celebrate the spirit of his life everyday. Visitation will also be held in Park Ridge IL on March 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home.
