Teresa Elizabeth "Liz" Giancola age 97 of S. Daytona passed away on Sunday February 12 2012. A funeral service in her honor will be held on Thursday 02/16; 11:00 AM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. The visitation will be Wed. 02/15; 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Liz was born in Scottdale PA to Rosario and Filomena Parletto. She devoted her life as a home maker wife and mother working occasionally outside the home at the family restaurant as the head chef. She was a member greeter and volunteer at the Basilica of St. Paul and a Pink Lady volunteer at Halifax Hospital and Holiday Care Center. She was a determined innovative go getter with a wonderful talent in sewing cooking and home repair. Her 5 siblings and beloved husband Vincenzo Giancola preceded her in death and she is survived by 3 children: Rosanna (Dominick) Frederick Gloria (John) Lillard and Bernard (Clara) Giancola 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
