Obituary

For the gift of life by the grace of God we give thanks and praise and are eternally humble in the presence of they works.

With great sorrow we come together before you our Saviour to commit to thy heavenly bosom the body of Tara Leeanna Reeves.

Tara Leeanna Reeves, being a child of God was born in Carrington Village on the Island of Barbados on November 18 th , 1971.  Tara spent her youthful days in Barbados, attending Waitsfield High School where she played netball and participated in track and field events.  In 1998 Tara immigrated to the USA and settled in Brooklyn, NY.  She enjoyed helping people and this led to her obtaining her diploma through night school and eventually becoming a nurses aide, going on to receive her certificate as a medical billing assistant.  Tara truly loved all that nature offered; watching nature shows on TV was a favorite pastime.  Exercising, going for walks in the park, traveling on scenic road trips were her favorite things to do.  She was very interested in theatrical plays.  She was married to her husband Steve E. Nurse in 2004 and began a new chapter of her life.  They traveled back and forth to Florida the next several years while their house was being built.  Finally moving to Palm Coast, Florida in 2015 was a blessing to her.  She enjoyed living there, especially the weather.  Tara gave her life to Christ and became saved.  She joined the Christian Life Center.

Although Tara had no children she very much enjoyed them and this was most evident when she went home to Barbados and being around all her young nieces and nephews.

Tara is survived by her husband Steve E. Nurse; mother, Patsy Reeves who resides in Barbados; sisters, Faye Ingrahm, Kim Reeves and Jodi Reeves; Brother in-law, Clyde K. Nurse; sisters in-law, Yvette Cumberbatch-Nurse and Ingrid Drakes-Nurse; nieces Lisa Reeves and Keesha Reeves, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her best friend Nadia of Brooklyn, NY.

Father we give this child of God to you, in your mercy may she rest with you through eternity.
