Tanya Marie Barnes-Dorsey, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Sunday September 26th, 2021. She was 44. Tanya was born January 14th, 1977 in Whitman, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Angel and Kathryn (Mullen) Rodriguez.

Tanya had such a loving heart for kids. She worked with special needs kids for a small time in her life then eventually went into daycare. She worked in child care for over 20 years.  In her last few years of her life Tanya worked at Little Angels Daycare with her Aunt Gail Ritter.  Towards the end she not only worked with her Aunt but with her daughter Amber Haymes as well. Tanya was the one you would find pretty much everywhere at church. She not only did the slides on Sunday morning at Life Coast Church, but was always helping between Sisterhood, Encounter Youth Ministry, food and social media posting. She always loved to travel. No matter how much pain Tanya was in she never showed it. She was always spending time with her loved ones, helping at church, or even traveling. Occasionally Tanya would just stay in bed and love on her fur babies, Malibu the family dog, and Simba and Nala, the family cats.

She is survived by her loving husband Delano Barnes-Dorsey of 13 years, her two daughters, Samantha Haymes and Amber Haymes and her sister Chrystal Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Evelyn Mullen and Aunt Val Cappola.
