Obituary

Suzanne Munroe, 82, of Dunnellon, FL, originally from Hudson, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  She was born the eldest daughter of Sylvio Cote and Madeleine Michaud Cote on January 5. 1939.  Sue was a school bus driver for the Town of Hudson for many years and ended her driving career as a driver for special needs students. She worked at Alexander's Market in Hudson in the Deli dept, as well as a water meter reader for the Hudson Water Company, worked for the Housing Authority in Orange City and did a short stint at a local veterinary office. She loved doing all kinds of crafts and enjoyed teaching others how to do
them. She was an active member of the senior center where she lived in Orange City, Florida and organized many holiday dinners for the park residents. She was also an active member of the New Life Bible Church in Orange City. Sue is survived by her daughters, Deborah Freeman (husband, Harold) and Nancy Phaneuf (husband Don) both of Hudson, NH; her son, Tony Francoeur (wife Laura) of Dunnellon, Fla, and daughter, Malissa Dimarco of Nashua, NH; Eight grandchildren, Andrew Freeman and Angela Crowell, Christina Larsen, Lauren, Justin and Kieth Francoeur, Cory Rogers and Emily Dimarco, and a great granddaughter, Kristen Crowell. A sister, Jeanine Colasuonno of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews. Sue is predeceased by two husbands, Rene
Francoeur and Daniel Munroe, as well as her grandson, Cpt. Ryan S. Phaneuf, and a sister, Sandra Carrier.
She was well loved and will be missed by all.
There will be no visitation hours. She will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at her son Tony's home in Dunnellon on Fri, June 11th. Sue will return to NH to be buried with family during a graveside service. There will also be a celebration of life for Sue in NH with details to follow on Facebook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Assoc. Or the Key Training Center at 5399 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy, in Lecanto, FL 34461.
