A Memorial Service for Suzanne Eileen Holy 43 of Ormond Beach will be held at 6:00pm Friday October 2 2009 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL with a reception to follow. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Friday from 5:00 to 6:00pm prior to service. A native of Daytona Beach & born on January 4 1966 to Lon & Barbara Holy Suzanne was an animal control officer for the Ormond Beach Police Department. She was a graduate of Mainland High School and was a member of every animal rescue organizations in Volusia County. Besides animal rescue Suzanne was involved with public speaking Animal Colony along with trapping neuter & release programs. She served for two weeks with the Hurricane Katrina Animal Rescue and was Ormond Beach Police Department's Employee of the year in 2008. She was preceded in death by her father Lon Holy and survivors include her mother & step-father Barbara & Gary Lamb of Daytona Beach; and her two brothers: Scott & Shawn Holy both of Daytona Beach.
