Suzanne Hendrickson A. 81 was called home to be with the lord on Sunday December 16 2007 after a sudden illness. Funeral services for Ms. Hendrickson will be held graveside on Friday December 21 2007 at 11:00 at Daytona Memorial Park with a visitation to be held on Thursday December 20 2007 from 5-8 pm in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Ms. Hendrickson passed peacefully at Halifax Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in the Bronx NY on September 26 1926 to the late Fred and Mary Dessi. She was predeceased by her loving husband Howard S. Hendrickson in 1969. She moved from Chester NY to Daytona Beach in 1972. Ms. Hendrickson retired from Halifax Hospital in 1991 but continued working in the medical field until 1999. She was always active in the community never met a stranger and was a very giving and caring person. She enjoyed being around people. Ms. Hendrickson was able to maintain her quality of living through the love and devotion of her son Howie who was always by her side and her daughter Donna who made sure her every needs were met. She had many friends and will sadly be missed by all. Ms. Hendrickson is survived by her son Howard of Daytona Beach and daughter Donna of Port Orange.
