Funeral Service for Susan Carlson age 63 who died on Thursday March 8 2007 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 16 2007 in Palm Coast United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Carlson was born in Chicago Illinois and moved to Palm Coast from Connecticut in 1995. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Monticello Illinois. Mrs. Carlson received her B.A. in Education from Purdue University and taught school in the Chicago area for a number of years. In the 1980's she was a buyer for a boutique in Geneva Illinois.

She enjoyed volunteering for the Family Life Center putting on fashion shows to raise money for the shelter. She volunteered at the Flagler Humane Society cleaning cat cages doing load after load of laundry and just whatever needed to be done. She loved dogs especially her poodle Curly who was rescued from the infamous puppy mill of 1997. Susan enjoyed golf boating gardening and all of her friends at the Hammock Dunes Club who supported her during her illness.

Susan was preceded in death by her father Harold Duncan. Left to cherish their memories of Susan are her loving husband and soulmate of 32 years David; her mother Betty Duncan of Westfield IN; brother Bill Duncan & his wife Ginny of Noblesville IN; a son Brian Carlson of Kissimmee FL grandchildren Nick Carlson of Kissimmee Nadine Carlson of Orlando & Alex Carlson of Windemere FL and a great grandson Nasil of Orlando.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Flagler Humane Society 1 Shelter Dr. Palm Coast FL 32137.
