Obituary

Steven Leslie Garrott (Reno), 74, of Deltona, FL passed away on February 25, 2023 with his sisters and 3 very close friends by his side.  He is the son of the late Clifford L. Garrott, Sr. and Mary Frances Fry Garrott.  He was born on 10/19/48 in Brunswick, MD.
He lost the love of his life and soulmate Christine on May 21, 2017 in Deltona, FL.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford L. Garrott, Jr.
He served in the U.S Army from July 1968 - July 1971.  While in the Army he did a tour in Vietnam.  He worked for the B&O Railroad in Brunswick for 35 years until retirement in July 2009.
He is survived by 4 sisters:  Kay Wilson, Beverly Hauver, Kristi Hawes (Drew) and Darlene Curbow (Jeff) and sister-in-law Rose Garrott.  Numerous nieces, nephews,  cousins and many friends.
He is survived by his son Steven Garrott and honorary son, Bill Montgomery.
He was a member of various organizations, such as VFW, Moose, Eagles, Legion.
Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at Lohman Funeral Home, Deltona, Florida.
A memorial was held on Monday, March 6 at 2:00 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church. A memorial will be held in Maryland at a later date.
Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Episcopal Church, 815 East Graves Avenue, Orange City, FL  32763.
