Stephen Carl Street Age 67 of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 22 2011. A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held on Sunday March 27 2011 at 4PM at the Christ Presbyterian Church 1035 West Granada Blvd Ormond Beach FL 32174 with Dr. John Cole Pastor officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Church's Fellowship Hall. Steve was born in Charlottesville VA in 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and after his Honorable Discharge in 1971 he attended Virginia Commonwealth University. He retired as a Systems Analyst to this area from Richmond VA in 2000. Steve celebrated his life with lots of family and close friends and enjoyed activities such as photography computer/electronic gadgets riding his Harley and music. He was a Deacon at Christ Presbyterian Church a volunteer and treasurer of Ormond Beach Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a private airplane pilot. Steve's gift of laughter quick wit and unique sense of humor will be missed by many. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years Janice (McConchie) Street; Sister/Brother-in-Law Nancy & Gene Harris of Wilmington NC; niece Susan L. Salguero of Wilmington NC; nephew Robert J. Harris of Alexandria VA; and lots of cousins.
