Stephen J. Myers 76 of Aqua Vista Drive died Wednesday August 13 at home. Mr. Myers moved to this area in 1999 from Kill Buck NY. He owned and operated a general store and served as the Postmaster of Kill Buck NY. He ran a farm and worked in a machine shop and after retirement he worked for Publix in Ormond by the Sea.
He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast and was a Navy veteran belonging to the American Legion Post 1322 in North Tonawanda NY. He is registered in the World War II Memorial in Washington DC and he was a New York State fire warden for over 50 years. A life member of the Kill Buck Fire Department he also served as a commissioner for the Department for many years.
Survivors residing locally include his wife Regina V. Myers; two daughters - Carolyn & John Day and Kasia & Bondi Powell; two sons ? Stephen & Dawn Myers III and Christopher J. Myers. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Vince Nicholas Katie Miranda Kirsten and Shane; and is also survived by a brother Joseph & Helen Myers of Sebastian FL and several nieces nephews and families located in New York Connecticut Virginia Beach and Texas.

Memorial Services will be held at the Memorial Room at Mother Seton Catholic Church 4600 Beltaire Pkwy. Palm Coast on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:00?11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at the Mother Seton Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Myers will be laid to rest in his native state of New York in the City of Salamanca.
