Stephen B.  Lourie

Stephen B.  Lourie, 88, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on June 20, 2022 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  He was born on September 7, 1933 in New York, New York to the late Morris and Mary (nee, Angel) Lourie.  Stephen was a Veteran serving in the United States Navy.  He retired as the Dean at The University of New York after many years.  Stephen then moved to the Daytona Beach area in 2011.  He enjoyed traveling, socializing and Zumba.  Stephen was just one of those people that had a personality that everyone loved.
Survivors include his Husband of 8 years, Alfonso Rimola; a Cousin, Yuri; and his Sister-in-Law, Alex Anna Maria Xinia.
A Graveside Service was held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
