Stephen Francis Kirch, 68 years old of Ormond Beach, peacefully went to his rest Wednesday, January 7th. Stephen, had a kind and gentle heart. He courageously battled heart disease for nearly three years.

Stephen is survived by his beloved, longtime spouse, and life partner, Steven T. Barrett, and their pug, Joshua.

Stephen and his partner, Steve, were owners of a successful interior design firm for many years. An Adventist, Stephen spent many hours reading and studying the Bible, knowing our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. He enjoyed being at their cabin in Georgia, which he and Steve designed and built by themselves. This was a dream come true for them, spending many wonderful times there together.

Stephen was born in Lowville, NY , November 26, 1946, to parents, Harold V. and Mabel (Hoch) Kirch, who preceded him in death, along with an older brother, Neil.

Stephen leaves many dear, loving and caring friends who were family to him. Others survivors include a sister-in-law, Frannie, Lowville, NY; two siblings, Terry (Margaret), Towson, MD., and Gina, Ormond Beach; and many nieces and nephews.
