DAYTONA BEACH-Memorial services for Stephen E. King 52 of South Halifax Drive will be Saturday June 25 2005 At 4:30 PM in the chapel of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home. Stephen moved here with his family from Lynn Massachusetts in 1972 was brutally murdered in Jamaica on May 13 2005 while traveling there to meet a woman he met on the internet. Three have been charged in his murder.
Steve and his father Joe King who passed away in 2000 started King & King Plumbing in 1981 later to become King & King Mechanical Contractors.
Steve later worked for Turner Construction Orlando Florida and then went on to become a self- employed plumbing mechanical and fire protection estimator.
Steve was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Loved his dog Max and cat Matilda
Who were placed in loving homes? Steve loved to cook and entertain. He was the oldest of six children.
Family and many friends are suffering the loss of Steve who was taken from their lives; many will miss his laughter and caring personality.
Survivors include his Mother Mary King of Daytona Beach two brothers; John King Dania Beach Fl. and Scott King Daytona Beach three sisters; Linda Baugher Edgewater Lisa Port Orange and Leslie Buchanan New Smyrna Beach. Aunts and Uncles; John & Clara Moore Daytona Beach Walter & Elizabeth Lucantonio San Antonio Texas cousins nieces and nephews.
