IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stephen Le
Gost
February 2, 1938 – March 17, 2024
Stephen Le Gost
Loving father and husband. When Mom Passed away in 2016, he wanted to be with her. Because of his son, friends, and Colonel, he pushed on. He always lit up (or challenged) everyone's day with his sports talk and politics.
Dad always put family first and growing up, the highlight of his year was always a family vacation, whether local or out of the country – all to stay with the family.
He loved cooking in the kitchen in his later years, but was obsessed with GRILLING back in the day in NJ. We would always have friends over and Dad would be outside grilling steak, burgers and hotdogs (Your typical norther BBQ)
He was always the Dad in the neighborhood that was out in the street playing football with my friends and I (He was quite the quarterback) He supported me with my tennis ventures, almost always leaving work early to watch my matches in whatever city they were in. He was my biggest fan, and I his.
Later in life, he and Mom 'adopted' 3 beautiful girls from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and provided them love and adventure for years. Their names were Altaf, Mashalle, and Nouf. Dad got to be a Dad again and that made his time in Daytona Beach and Retirement even more special.
He is so happy right now, being with mom and looking down on all of us celebrating his life.
