Stephen "Bucky" Buckholt, 36, Ormond Beach, died peacefully in his sleep on Christmas Eve morning. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. A Celebration will immediately follow at 3:00pm.

Stephen was born and raised in Ormond Beach, FL. He graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1995 and attended Valdosta State. He always lived his life to the fullest and embraced all that it had to offer. He could be found fishing, enjoying the outdoors, watching NASCAR, and playing with his beloved pets. Undeniably his true passion in life was his commitment to his family. Stephen was a avid sportsman, excelling particularly in football and spear fishing. Also, he loved to play baseball and coed softball.

Those left to cherish their memories of Stephen are his loving parents, Stephen and Teresa Denise Buckholt, his sister, Stefanie Buckholt Ryan and her husband Tom, and his pets, Buddha and Cali. His Aunt Valerie and Uncle Mike; Aunt Veronica and Uncle George; great Aunt Doris Meek. His cousins: Tacina, Vinny, JJ, Austin, Hailey, Mike, Kris, Dawn, Matt, Madison, Cole, Morgan, Craig, Casey, Ciara, Canyon, Christie and William.

The family has asked that everyone that is attending the service please dress as Stephen would have. Memorial donations may be made in Stephens name to the Halifax Humane Society.
