Stanley Monroe Holmes passed away early Monday morning, February 13, 2023. Stan was born on January 7, 1941, and was 82 years old at the time of his passing.

Stan will be remembered for his accomplishments in life, which include his service as an EMT and firefighter for the Leesburg Fire
Department, where he touched the lives of many people serving his community. He then moved on to work as a machine operator for the Timken Bearing Company in Gaffney, South Carolina. His many talents include being a "Jack of All Trades"; who could build or make almost anything.

Stan is survived by his loving wife, Janice, two children, Kevin and Cara, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He will be missed mostly for his routinely repeated dad jokes, funny quotes, and his famous fish handshake.

A memorial will be held for Stan, welcoming all family and friends to his home in Deland, Florida.
