Stanley Rudolph Grossman, 85, of Palm Coast passed away on May 9, 2015. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Monday, May 18, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 11:00am. The Family welcomes friends to gather and visit an hour prior to the Mass.
Stan was born November 28, 1929 in Astoria, NY. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Stan was a Sergeant stationed in Korea and later transferred back to the US. After service, Stan worked as a designer in the space craft industry for Quan Tech Laboratories and Aircraft Radio Corp. He later worked for Stryker doing custom replacement implants. While working at Bell Laboratories, Stan met and enjoyed coffee with Marilyn Stein. They fell in love and married. Stan and Marilyn's family was complete with their four children, and then joyfully grew with grandchildren.
Stan enjoyed stamp collecting and bowling. He and Marilyn used to bowl at The Port Authority in New York. They retired to Palm Coast 19 years ago.
Stan will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn Stein Grossman, by his children Linda Grossman Emory, Donna Grossman Fortunato, Kenneth Allan Grossman, and Joyce Grossman Foulke, and by his eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's name to hospice. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
