Shirley Ann Townsend, 66, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on September 7, 2015. A Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 5pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Family welcomes friends to gather prior to the service at 4pm.

Shirley was born in Lake City, FL to Fulton and Joyce (Kelly) Townsend. Shirley was a Librarian at the FAA Library in Palm Coast. She was very proud to be a librarian there for 12 years.

Shirley enjoyed floral arranging, and was known for her classy arrangements. She was very creative and loved to take vintage items and redesign them into new, contemporary styles. Shirley was a Christian lady. She never met a child she didn't like. Shirley's true passion was her family; they were her pride and joy.

Shirley will be sadly missed by her children: James William Langford, Jr. Darrell Langford (Claudia), and Tanya Hand; by her grandchildren: Christopher James Hollman, Drew Martinsen, Sonja Langford, Mia Langford, Micah Langford, Kory Hand, Kyle Hand, and Karoline Hand; by her mother Joyce Townsend; by her siblings: Sharon Castellano, Walter Townsend, and Brenda Akins; and by her loving extended family. Shirley was predeceased by her father Fulton McKinney Townsend.
