Shirley A. Santana 81 of Ormond Beach unexpectedly passed away May 11 2012. Shirley was a juried artist. She worked in oils watercolors and pastels. She also did pen and ink drawings. Her work is displayed in private galleries and businesses in the US and Puerto Rico. Shirley was a world traveler living in England Spain and Turkey. She was a free thinker and said just what she thought. Shirley will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 59 years Ozzy Santana. She is also survived by her loving sons: Mark (wife Bernie) Santana Brooklyn OH; Vince Santana Ormond; Rick Santana Sr. Ormond; and loving daughter Teresa (husband Jeff) Meyers Clintondale NY; daughter-in-law Carrie Santana New Smyrna; grandchildren: Gabriel Rick Jr. Elena Zachery and Brianna; and 3 great grandchildren; brother Gene Leavens Anchorage AK; sister-in-law Suzi Leavens Torrence CA. Shirley was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Frank. Shirley will be mourned by her special friend Mary Lou Tebow and by many nieces nephews and friends. A Memorial Service in Shirley's honor will be held Monday May 14 at 1:30pm at Aberdeen Club House 50 Allwood Green Boulevard Ormond Beach FL 32174.
