Funeral services for Shirley Jones 85 of Daytona Beach who passed away peacefully last Thursday will be 2:30pm Tuesday September 11 2007 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona with Pastor Louis Lucas officiating. Burial will follow services at Daytona Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jones a resident of South Daytona for over 50 years was born August 31 1922 in Daytona Beach. She graduated from Mainland High School and worked for Porter Bait a fishing lure company until its closure. Shirley was a volunteer for 30 years at Halifax Medical Center in the pre-op department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church on Palmetto in Daytona Beach. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband Bill and two sons Tyler and Billy. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
