Shirley Gourley, 1936-2014.
Let me tell you a little bit about our mother. She was a strong woman, hardened through life but filled with love for her family and friends. She didn't have many friends but the friends she made became lifelong friends as Jeanne, Bubs and Sue can tell you. She was kind to children and strangers; she enjoyed books, bingo, the scripture and she worshipped Christ. She lived a simple life, loved sweets, worked hard and she loved to make others laugh. We're deeply saddened but so blessed by her unconditional love and devotion. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Shirley is survived by her son Lee, her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lissa, grandchildren Allison, Jared and Sarah and great-grandson Mason.
