Shirley A. Dunn, age 88, of Port Orange, FL, passed away at home with family by her side on December 4, 2018. She was born to the late Clark and Louise Boyd in Joplin, MO on July 1, 1930. Shirley had her own radio show on KISW Emporia, KS. She worked in a real estate office and then became the secretary for her husband's business as well as a lifelong homemaker; devoted to being a caring spouse, parent, grandparent, great grandparent, and community friend. She enjoyed reading and cooking, and was a member of The Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange, FL. Shirley is survived by her Husband of 68 years, Edmund Dunn; Daughter Debbie Bazzini; Daughter Kathleen Menard (Michel); Daughter Cheryl McLaughlin (Dave), Daughter Lisa Parker (Robert), Daughter Kim Verhees (Jack); ten Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Brother John Boyd, Sister Jackie Thanhardt. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:30pm at The Church of the Epiphany under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
