Shirley Ann Boettcher 82 of Daytona Beach passed away Wednesday December 10 2008 at the Hospice House of New Smyrna Beach. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 am Monday December 15 2008 in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach. Shirley was born on August 22 1926 in Cincinnati Ohio to Thomas & Margaret Gaffney. Shirley moved to Daytona Beach 28 years ago from the Washington DC area. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and was an avid golfer and bridge player. Those who will lovingly remember Shirley include her two sons William (Lynn) Boettcher Gainesville VA and Michael (Nena)Boettcher Ft. Walton Beach and grandson Brian.
