Shirley B. Baker age 76 of Port Orange has fulfilled her mission on Earth. She passed away on Sunday December 11 2011 with her family by her side.

A 10:00 am viewing followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service in her honor will be held Tuesday December 13 2011 at the Daytona chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shirley was born on February 19 1935 to the late Garnett and Mamie Combs Bedsaul in Galax Virginia. She was a member of Pulaski High School class of 1953. Shirley enjoyed serving her Lord and fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ. She also loved going to yard sales cooking and collecting dolls. Most of all Shirley enjoyed being a devoted wife loving mother grandmother and friend.

Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Robert C. Baker Sr. and her parents Mamie and Garnett Bedsaul. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children Robert C. (Drema Brown) Baker Jr. Larry Ray (Carol Mills) Baker and Sheila Baker all of Port Orange FL; two grandchildren Robert C. Baker III and Elizabeth Dawn Baker and lifelong friend Mildred Philips of Pulaski Virginia. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
