Sherry K. Pletsch 59 passed away peacefully on Sunday March 10 2013. Sherry had a wonderful sense of humor great heart and a strong will about her. She was born in Fort Benning Georgia but was raised in Rockford Illinois. Sherry worked as a waitress for many years and eventually climbed the ladder to assistant manager of restaurants in Rockford IL and she even owned her own restaurant called Sherry's Caf. She loved animals especially dogs and dolphins the ocean and most of all she adored her family. She and her beloved husband have been snow birds for 10 years until permanently moving to Daytona Beach Florida in 2011. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years Thomas Pletsch; son Steven (Jill) Pletsch; daughters Lori (Alex) Morales Mindy Pletsch; brother Robert Gould; and grandchildren Andrew and Justin Morales Rachael and Brody Pletsch. She will be deeply missed and is now at peace with Our Heavenly Father. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
