August 13, 1933 - February 16, 2023

Sheldon was born in Brooklyn, NY. He moved to Cincinnati, OH for medical school. Following internship, he joined the Naval Military service and proudly served his country while training in Anesthesia at St. Albans Naval Hospital and Columbia College, NYC, NY. He returned to Cincinnati, OH in 1965 where he practiced Anesthesia at Jewish and Mercy Hospitals for 40 years.

After retirement, he moved to Palm Coast, Florida. He worked for AAHC where he audited outpatient surgery centers part-time. He had a variety of hobbies such as golf, tennis, bowling, croquet and bocce. Additionally, he enjoyed jazz music, collecting coins, and most importantly, spending time with his family and many friends.

Predeceased by parents Joseph and Dorothy Farber, sister Roberta Lewitt, and brother Dr. Edward Farber. Survived by wife of 66 years, Beverly Farber, brother Dr. Paul Farber and wife Judy, sister-in-law Myra Brodsky, brother-in-law Edward Ellenson, children Dorothy Taylor and husband Bill, Drs. Wayne and Cindy Farber, Dr. Ken Farber and wife Pam, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, other relatives and dear friends, we love you and miss you, Shelly.
