Shavon Maria Kennedy, 40, beloved daughter, mother and friend to all was born July 25, 1982 at Fort Benning, Georgia to the proud parents of Larry and Clara Kennedy. On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, she was found deceased in her apartment.

She leaves behind a precious 13-year-old daughter, Emilee Kennedy; her parents, Larry and Clara Kennedy; three brothers: Kevin, 48, (Amber) Kennedy; Gary, 42, (Megan) Kennedy; Larry Jr., 51, (Chandra) Kennedy. A host of aunts and uncles: Ike (Patricia) Kennedy, Maggie (Buc Mike) Stokes, Veronica (John) Bullard, Melinda (Michael) Barker, Sharron (Michael) Henderson, Michael (Tonya) Turner. Also a host of nieces and nephews: Donovan, Angela, Gavin, Chanda, Peyton and Zoe.

Shavon was loved by all who knew her and made friends everywhere she went. She loved helping others. Though we will not say goodbye, for now we will say "Good night, my dear, good night,".
