Graveside Services for Seymour "Sy" Sedacca 77 who died on February 23 2008 will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday February 26 at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Daytona Beach with Rabbi Gary Perras officiating. Sy was born March 21 1931 in New York New York. He taught 6th Grade in District 23 Public Schools and served as assistant principal until retiring after 33 years. An avid fisherman Sy loved boating and spending time on the water. He also enjoyed basketball and loved to read a book a day. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Ethel Sedacca; sons Michael and Gary (Polly); three grandchildren Lisa Marie Danielle Anne and Joseph Ryan; great grandson Zayve'yahn; and two sisters Claudia (David) Klaubaum and Helene Dayan. He was preceded in death by his father David. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Sy to Temple Israel 1400 S. Peninsula Dr. Daytona Beach FL 32118.
