Scott McConnell Tomson 52 of Daytona Beach died peacefully November 30 2010 at his home. He was born August 25 1958 in Little Rock Arkansas. The son of Alan and Muriel (Kiki) Tomson Scott graduated from Oklahoma University with a BA in Psychology and was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity He is survived by his parents a brother Craig K. Tomson of Austin Tx and his former wife Linda Evans of Ormond Beach.

Scott was admired and respected for his accomplishments but it was his inner nature that inspired confidence loyalty and love in those who knew him - a kind generous man who always embraced life's challenges. For Scott there was always another hill to climb and a glass that was half full. He was a successful Allstate insurance agency owner winning many local and corporate awards.

His many friends will remember him as an avid sports car enthusiast and collector cyclist - competing in many rides for charity and a lover of the outdoors and especially the waves and beaches of Daytona.

A Celebration of Scott's life will be held at 4:00PM on Monday December 6th at the Chapel of Lohman in Port Orange; a reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Halifax Humane Society or American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
