Scot Gerald Polcin

August 26, 1960 ~ September 17, 2021

Scot Gerald Polcin was born August 26, 1960 in Stephens Point, Wisconsin to Gerald "Gary" Polcin and Judith "Judi" Louise Knudson Polcin.  He entered into rest on September 17, 2021 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Scot proudly served in the United States Air Force.  He moved to Florida from Wisconsin in 1972.  He and his loving wife, Donna Carol Polcin lived in Palm Coast, Florida where they co-owned and operated JDS Security Inc., an alarm security business which they started together in March 1992.

Scot loved fishing and spending time with his family.

Scot is preceded in death by his father, Gary.  He is survived by his mother, Judi Corbett; his wife, Donna; daughters Crystle (Chris) Shamburg of Flagler Beach, FL and Danielle (Curtis) Green of Temple, GA; his mother-in-law Rosalyn Vanyo; brothers Todd (Phyllis) Polcin of Palm Coast, FL and Tracee Polcin of Cartersville, GA; and four grandchildren Mallory Smalley, Lindsey Green, Tyler Green and Brody Shamburg.

The receiving for Scot is scheduled on Saturday, October 2 from 3:00-5:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A reception will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
