Sarah Honey Sakalo 69 Ormond Beach FL passed away on Wednesday August 10 2011 at Florida Hospital Daytona Beach FL. The family will receive friends on Sunday; August 14th between the hours of 1-4 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. She was born October 10 1941 in New York New York to Harry and Lillian Ozer. Sarah and her husband relocated to Volusia County in 2001 from Freehold NJ she recently retired as a banker/mortgage lender a gifted artist/painter and an avid reader. Her passions included music birds a good party and especially her husband. Sarah was a trendsetter in fashion never a follower always a leader. She would light up a room when she walked in a true people person. Sarah is survived by her husband of 54 years Bill Sakalo Ormond Beach her devoted daughter Kerri Sakalo Ormond Beach son George (Carolyn) Sakalo Hamilton NJ her brother Simon sister Janice and a grandson Robert Gene Sakalo. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Charlene. She will be remembered as a "Beautiful Lady" inside and out. Memorial contributions may be made to the Halifax Humane Society 2364 W.
