Sarah Louise Nolet known to many as "Cindy" Nolet 86 passed away Saturday May 5 2012 at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange Florida. There will be open visitation for friends and family Thursday May 10th from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Baggett & Summers Chapel at 736 S. Beach St. Daytona Beach. Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Rob Hall of Cross Roads Baptist Church Friday morning for the family members at Lohman's Daytona Memorial Park.
Born in 1925 in Asheville North Carolina "Cindy" and her late husband Army Lt Col Roy Nolet settled in Daytona Beach in 1968 from Camp Springs MD.
"Cindy" the daughter of an Ashville N.C. cabinet maker was a true forward thinking entrepreneur who demonstrated her business savvy in many successful pursuits including real estate estate appraisal and liquidations and as owner of "The Little White House" antique shop in Allandale Florida.
"Cindy" was loved by everyone who was blessed to know her and after retiring from her business pursuits continued to build a wide network of friends through many years of ballroom dancing and philanthropic work.
"Cindy"" and Roy were members of the Daytona Beach Shores Christian Drive-In Church.
"Deeply loved and cherished by her family for her unfaltering support wisdom and selfless sacrifices she leaves each of us with special memories. We are better people and will live better lives because of her and we all believe that heaven is a better place today."
Of her seven siblings "Cindy" is survived by one sister Betty Ann Lanning of Ashville NC; a daughter Brenda (Bo) Bofamy of S. Daytona; one son: Alan (Angela) Bryson of Grassau Germany; stepdaughters Georgia Rust of Prescott AZ and Sandy Hawley of Kissimmee Fl. She also leaves three grandchildren: Scott Bofamy of Scottsdale AZ Kelly Bofamy of Palm Coast FL Mike Bofamy of Apache Junction AZ; one great granddaughter Sterling Bofamy of Bremgarten Switzerland and close friend Ray Gondola.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Hospice Care Center of Port Orange at 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange Fl 32129.
