Sarah Sizemore Noga 85 of South Daytona FL was called home to be with the Lord on Monday November 3 2008 after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at New Hope Baptist Church 1675 Taylor Rd Port Orange FL 32127 with the Reverend Bob Mulkey officiating. A Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 South Beach Street Daytona. A Committal Service will be held at Lohman Daytona Memorial Park immediately following the service at the church.
She lived in the Daytona area all her life & worked as a switchboard operator for the News-Journal prior to working for the Volusia County School System for 26 years as Executive Secretary for the Superintendent until her retirement. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Port Orange. Mrs Noga loved fishing reading walking on the beach & especially her Hymalayian Persian cat Miss Priss. She was an USO volunteer during World War II.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Marye Best of Deland Janice Carson of Holly Hill Deborah (James) Garner of Paisley & Nancy (Peter) Gabriel of South Daytona; 6 grandchildren Nicole Best of Lake Mary Shanda (Rodrigo) Caruco of Deltona Stephanie Best of New Smyrna Beach Matthew Solana of Port Orange Samuel Gabriel & Patrick Gabriel both of South Daytona.
She is preceded in death by her brother R.D. Sizemore in 2002 & her sister Virene Duke in 1995.
