After a long and courageous battle with illness, Sara Campanella, 77, passed away peacefully at home on December 9th, 2024. Despite her challenges later in life, she continued to define the role of extraordinary, remaining a light of inspiration and hope and brightening the lives of everyone in her presence.  She will be deeply missed and forever cherished for her indomitable spirit, strength, optimism, and resilience.

Born in New York, Sara met the love of her life, Anthony, and together they built a beautiful family. In 1983, they relocated to Florida, where Sara's radiant personality and immeasurable talents in the kitchen became legendary throughout the area. Her home was often filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aromas of her infamous recipes. Above all, Sara's greatest source of joy and pride was her family. She devoted her life to nurturing and celebrating them, creating traditions that will be treasured for generations.

Sara is survived by her husband of 56 years Anthony Campanella; sons Anthony and Michael; sister Maryann, and her five adoring grandchildren; Anthony, Jordyn, Ian, Emily, and Grace. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them and the countless lives she touched.

A Memorial Mass will be held in Sara's honor at Epiphany Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4th, 2025. An on-site reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the Campanella family kindly requests that donations be made to Vitas Hospice & Palliative Care, whose compassionate care brought comfort in her final days.
