It is with deep regret to announce the passing of our beloved father, Santos Ortiz Sr. Santos was 88 years old, born on march 6, 1935 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico; he lived in Deltona, Florida. Santos passed away on October 9, 2023 at 6:09 am at Advent Health Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Florida.

Santos is survived by his four children, Aida (spouse Arcillio), Santos (spouse Deborah), Edwin (spouse Martha), Dennis; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild.

Santos worked very hard all his life often doing two shifts to provide for his family when we were growing up. He loved to joke around, enjoyed eating pasta, and was a diehard Mets fan. He loved planting and growing vegetables in his garden as well as making sure his grass was always maintained green. He had a heart of gold and was always there for his family.

Until we meet again we will miss you very much. Your loving family.

The viewing will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at: Lohman Funeral Home Deltona16 located at 1681 Providence Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral  service at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Deland Memorial Gardens, located at 600 E. Beresford Ave, Deland, FL 32724.
