Obituary

Sanford J. Waldron 86 of Ormond Beach FL passed away November 23 2010. A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date. Sanford was born in Brooklyn New York to Parnell and Ada (Lloyd) Waldron. He was a veteran of World War II serving in U.S. Army China-Burma-India Theater as a medic. Sanford was a Draftsman Estimator for a stone company an avid sports fan especially when it came to the NY Mets NY Rangers and NASCAR. He relocated to Volusia County 20+ years ago from Ringwood NJ; he attended Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir. He loved spending time with his family children and grandchildren as well as being an animal lover. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Lorna M. Waldron; daughter Barbara (William) Bakke; sons Jeffrey Waldron and David (Erin) Waldron; brother William Lloyd Waldron ;and sister Elizabeth Murphy; by seven grandchildren Scott (Sarah) Bakke Keith (Cathleen) Bakke Leanne (Michael) Myers Rhianna (Jason) Hamner Ciara Waldron Spencer Waldron and Parker Waldron; as well as by seven great-grandchildren Amanda Bakke Samantha Bakke Emily Bakke Eric Bakke Ashley Myers Dylan Myers and Logan Knight. Memorial donations may be made in Sanford's memory to Halifax Humane Society PO Box 9035 Daytona Beach FL 32120. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach.
