Mrs. Sandra Cawthorne was born on March 31 1958 to the late Gracie Lee Foote and Leroy Fields in Washington DC. Sandra received her formal education through the Washington DC Public School System where she excelled in her studies.
Sandra was formerly employed at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. In her leisure she enjoyed going to concerts other events and family reunions. Sandra was the life of any party she went to. Her smile was one of a kind it would light up the room and her laughter was the greatest sound one could hear. She was a very special and unique person with a heart of pure gold. Sandra especially enjoyed spending quality time with her husband Elester family and friends.
Sandra Cawthorne was truly blessed. She was called home and departed this life on August 21 2010. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Elester Cawthorne of Altamonte Springs.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother Gracie Lee Foote; beloved brothers Leanard W. Foote Willie A. Foote and Floyd Caldwell.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory one grandmother Sarah A. Hyde of Silver Springs MD; her beloved siblings Charlie M. Foote and his wife Brenda of Washington DC; her loving and devoted sister Susan A. Bolden of Palm Coast FL; Diane F. Miller of Fort Washington MD; Linda P. Foote of Washington DC; Steven L. Young and Scottie W. Young and his wife of Atlantic City NJ. She also leaves to cherish her memory beloved Aunts Mae Rita Owens of Washington DC and Ida Elaine Brown of Palm Coast FL; one Uncle James E. Brown of Palm Coast FL; and a host of nieces nephews cousins other loving relatives and friends.
