Samuel Oscar Torres, 91, of Palm Coast, FL, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2018, in Palm Coast. Sam was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 2, 1927, to the late Rafael Santos Torres and Zoa Roman-Torres.  Mr. Torres, during his military career with the U.S. Army & Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman (Korean War) Badge & the United Nations Service Medals.  Sam had a long and successful career in the printing business. He retired from the United States Federal Government/Fannie Mae in 1991. He loved music, traveling and the beach. Sam is predeceased by his late loving wife of 43 years, Gloria F. Torres.  Sam leaves behind to mourn his death his daughter Laura Torres and her husband Carlos, two sons Rafael Santos Torres and his wife Joyce and David Oscar Torres, his beloved sisters Julia E. Torres and Sara N. Torres-White and her husband George. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many long time friends.
